    73 years ago this week:
    Stan and Ollie attend a screening of "Any Old Port" in London. 2000 people mob the boys as they leave the theater, and tear the door off the car once they are inside. (7/25/32)

    39 years ago this week:
    Bobby Dunn, the shoplifter in "Tit for Tat," dies in Hollywood. (7/27/66)

    16 years ago this week:
    Ernie "Sunshine Sammy" Morrison, Our Gang's very first member, dies in Los Angeles at the age of 76. (7/24/89)

THELMA TODD

It's not difficult, I know, but Im confusioned. "Happy 100th birthday?"
Born in 1906? Does not compute. Also, IMdB and others say born 1905.
Somebody help, please.

Thanks, Bill, that's cleared that one up. Thelma's grave says b.1906, but many other sources say 1905, and almost all say "died aged 30". I researched this over 20 years ago and wrote a paper, reprinted in Bowler Dessert, but I could never uncover the birth certificate. Any ideas, Rene?
