Congratulations to Willie McIntyre who has made an outstanding contribution to fans of Laurel and Hardy throughout the world for many years. To this day Willie produces the Laurel and Hardy news, The Bowler Dessert, he runs full house meetings of the sons at the Panopticon in Glasgow, rarely misses a Laurel and Hardy event whereever it is in the world and more importantly in this case, Willie produces one of the most active and loved websites on the internet for fans of the boys.

Well done Willie, we are honoured to have you as a member of the forum.

It was a very close call. This years second place runner up was the superb Blotto website.

I am taken aback and very flattered by this valued award. We all know that the Forum is second to none. But, like the Forum, Bowler Dessert and Bowler Dessert Online owe their success to the countless people who take part. We all love Laurel and Hardy and sharing our affection is what keeps us together. Thanks go to all those folk who make this possible.
The Sons of the Desert are very special people and I would hate to be without them. I would hate to be without the Forum and I would hate to be without the dozens of splendid websites dedicated to Laurel and Hardy. Thanks for helping me enjoy the Boys so much. And thanks for giving Bowler Dessert Online this lovely award.

Congratulations Willie. What I like most about Bowler Dessert Online is the regular (almost daily) updates. It's sort of like having a daily L&H newspaper. :)
